Over the last few days, the world has watched as the people of Iran have fought for justice and democracy. Despite the threats, imprisonments, and violence, the Iranian people have decided to stand up so that their voices will be heard. We want the people of Iran to know that we support them.
To show the world that we care about the injustices occurring in Iran, a candle light vigil will be held at the University of Washington's Red Square this Friday evening at 9 pm as we pay tribute to those brave souls who have risked and lost their lives for the cause of justice this past week. All are welcome.
Please spread the word to both Iranian and non-Iranian.
Please bring candles and peace.
Please don't bring any flags or any symbols of party politics. Instead, let's all unite by wearing green or black.

“Human beings are members of a whole, In creation of one essence and soul. If one member is afflicted with pain, Other members uneasy will remain. If you have no sympathy for human pain, The name of human you cannot retain." - Saadi
